Common perimenopause symptoms include:

  • Heavy periods, large clots or flooding

  • Shorter, longer or irregular cycles

  • Night sweats or hot flushes

  • Anxiety, irritability or feeling “on edge”

  • Poor sleep, frequent waking, restless nights

  • Mood swings or emotional sensitivity

  • Bloating, nausea or digestive changes

  • Sudden weight gain, especially around the abdomen

  • Brain fog, forgetfulness or difficulty concentrating

  • Breast tenderness, headaches or migraines

  • Increased period pain or changes in cramps

  • Mid-cycle spotting or unpredictable ovulation

These symptoms are common, but they are not something you have to just put up with.
